Statement of Faith

The Bible is God's Word

Both the Tanach (Old Testament) and the Apostolic Scriptures (New Testament) are infallible and inspired by Him in their original manuscripts. Therefore, they serve as the final authority in all matters. (Exodus 24:4; Isaiah 40:8; 2 Timothy 3:16)

There is One God

There is one God, the God of Israel. He is the eternal, omnipresent, all-powerful, and all-knowing God. He is the Creator, who is both merciful and just. God fully desires to communicate with and dwell among mankind, with the pinnacle being His Son, who redeems and restores creation and humanity. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Leviticus 26:11-12; John 1:14; Revelation 21:3)

Jesus is the Son of God

Yeshua (Jesus) is the Jewish Son of God. The Scriptures illustrate His divine and human nature in detail. The prophet Isaiah describes Him as a human child born to us who is also called “Mighty God.” The apostle John reveals that He is the Word of God who became human, and the Word is God. The apostle Paul describes Him as the One in whom “all the fullness of Deity lives in bodily form.” He had to become human to serve as the perfect mediator and redeemer. (Deuteronomy 18:15; Isaiah 9:6; John 1:1-3; John 1:14; Colossians 2:9)

The Power of the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is the great Comforter who seals, indwells, convicts, teaches, leads, and empowers believers. He imparts gifts to empower followers of Jesus to fulfill their calling and glorify the Lord. (Exodus 31:3; Ezekiel 36:26-27; Galatians 5:22-23; Acts 1:8)

Sin is Lawlessness

Sin is lawlessness. It is rebellion against God’s commands and is what fractured the relationship between God and humanity. Sin originated with Adam and Eve and has been passed on to all mankind. (Genesis 3:1-19; 1 John 3:4; Roman 3:23)

Freedom from Sin

God grants eternal forgiveness to those who confess that Jesus is Lord and place their trust in His death, burial, and resurrection. This forgiveness is a free gift that requires reception through repentance and faith in Him. Jesus is the only means by which we are saved from eternal separation from God.  (Leviticus 23:5-14; Isaiah 1:18; John 3:16; Matthew 3:2; Romans 10:9-10; Romans 1:16)

God's Covenant with Israel

God chose Israel to be in covenant with Him, and His promises to Israel remain valid. The Jewish people have a 4,000-year history that is intrinsically connected to the Land of Israel. Believers in Yeshua have an enduring obligation to share the Gospel with the Jewish people. (Hebrews 8:8; Deuteronomy 7:6; Jeremiah 31:37; Romand 1:16; Matthew 23:39; Romans 11:15-16)
