Our Work

Who We Serve

Romans 1:16 proclaims, “For I am not ashamed of the Gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.” The Jewish people are a priority for the Gospel message. In fact, although the Apostle Paul was called to reach the Gentiles, he consistently and systematically went to the Jewish people first in every area he journeyed.

This blueprint for sharing the Good News should persist until the Lord returns.

The Orthodox Jewish community remains one of the most unreached people groups, with fewer than one percent identifying as believers in Jesus. There are many reasons for this, but sharing the message of Jesus’ love requires deep sensitivity, respect, and patience.

Messiah’s Shofar is called to bring the truth of Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) into these communities and to Jewish people of all sects, emphasizing how His life and message are compatible with Jewish faith and customs. Our desire is to build genuine relationships, demonstrate Messiah’s love through action, and share how Jesus fulfills the Hebrew Scriptures.

Ways We Serve

Outreach

We engage in direct conversations with the Jewish people about Jesus, their promised Messiah. Our desire is to share the Gospel with the Jewish people in a Jewish context and to affirm that it is perfectly acceptable to believe that the most famous Jew who ever lived is the Messiah!

“For he vigorously refuted his Jewish opponents in public debate, proving from the Scriptures that Jesus was the Messiah.”   Acts 18:28

Involvement

Not only did Yeshua (Jesus) desire to meet the spiritual needs of the Jewish people but He also met the physical needs of those He loved.

We strive to actively participate in the Jewish community through farming projects, benevolence efforts, and relationship-building, thereby demonstrating the love of Jesus in action.

“But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.” 1 John 1:7

Education

Messiah’s Shofar provides believers with insights into how historical and cultural issues, antisemitism, and theological differences impact our witness to the Jewish community.  We do this to encourage followers of Jesus to understand the Jewish roots of our faith and stand in solidarity with the nation of Israel.

We aim to empower disciples with the knowledge and confidence needed to share the Good News with Jewish individuals.

“Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15

Join us in bringing the truth of Messiah to the Jewish community.
